Misty Terrace is a pioneering alternative rock band emerging from the heart of Bhutan, widely recognized as one of the country’s most influential and first internationally celebrated music acts. Known for blending soulful lyricism with raw, contemporary soundscapes, the band has carved a unique identity that bridges Bhutanese spirit with global music trends. As one of the highest followed band in Bhutan, Misty Terrace repeatedly performed in more than 49 countries as their base now stretch across North India and into the Tibetan communities around the world. One of the first original artist of Modern Bhutan to stretch their fanbase beyond the mountains into the international market, Misty Terrace have performed repeatedly including America, Canada, China, Hongkong, Australia, Europe, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka etc.. At the forefront of the band is Tandin, a dynamic frontman whose artistry transcends music. He is also the lead actor in The Monk and the Gun (2023), Bhutan’s critically acclaimed film directed by Pawo Choyning Dorji, which was shortlisted (top 15 international feature) for the Academy Awards (Oscars).
